Most Sherri Hill online orders ship directly from our international warehouse and take approximately 4–6 weeks for packing, international transit, customs clearance, and final delivery.

Need your gown sooner?
You can select our Upgrade My Order option at checkout for an additional $60 AUD. This upgrade gives your gown priority processing and shipping, reducing the estimated delivery time to around 3–4 weeks.

Please make sure to include the date of your event in the Order Notes section at checkout so our team can ensure timely delivery.

Each Sherri Hill gown is handcrafted from delicate fabrics and intricate embellishments, so a little extra care will help keep your dress looking flawless.

Handle with care:
Always remove jewellery, watches, or anything that could snag your gown before putting it on. Avoid sitting on rough or uneven surfaces to prevent pulls or damage to the fabric.  Due to the delicate hand-embellished nature of Sherri Hill gowns, it’s completely normal for a few beads or sequins to come loose, or drop. This is not a fault, but a characteristic of fine couture detailing.

Cleaning:
Some Sherri Hill gowns can be professionally dry cleaned, but others may only allow gentle hand washing in cold water. Always check the care label inside your gown for specific cleaning instructions. If hand washing, use a mild detergent, wash separately, and dry flat.

Avoid:
Do not soak, wring, iron, or tumble dry your gown. Never use bleach or harsh chemicals.

Storage:
Store your gown in a cool, dry place, hanging it inside a garment bag to protect it from dust and fading. Avoid storing in plastic as it can trap moisture and damage delicate fabrics.

Pro tip:
When travelling with your gown, keep it in its garment bag and hang it up as soon as you arrive.  To smooth out any wrinkles, never use an iron, but rather invest in a garment steamer, it’s a safe and easy way to refresh your gown before your big night.

All gowns are shipped via Australia Post with signature on delivery for your peace of mind. You’ll receive a notification and tracking number once your order has been packed and dispatched so you can follow your gown’s journey every step of the way.

We always aim to ship your gown as quickly as possible.

• Some gowns are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.
• Some are made to order in Australia, taking approximately 2–21 days for construction, quality control, and dispatch.
• Others are shipped from our international warehouse, which can take 7–21 days before dispatch.

We are based in Australia, and any orders shipped internationally may incur customs or import fees determined by your country’s customs agency.

These fees are based on the value of your order and your country’s tax-free threshold (if applicable). Payment of any duties or taxes is the responsibility of the customer and is required at the time of delivery.

Please note that it is illegal to under-declare parcel contents, and due to strict border regulations, these fees cannot be waived or avoided, even if a parcel is refused or returned.

If you’ve purchased your gown online, you’re welcome to return it for a store credit. Refunds are not offered for change-of-mind returns, instead, a Gossip Gowns store credit will be issued, which can be used toward a future purchase with us.

Please note that shipping costs and any rush or priority processing fees are non-refundable and will not be included in your store credit.
