The Lara gown features a tie up back that allows you to play around with fitting, and the flattering V front shows off your bust shape to perfection.

The full circle skirt is fully lined and features a slit and pockets.

Lara gowns are constructed with a generous long length hemline which can be easily taken up.

Our Vanity Satin fabric gives an elegant timeless look.  It is a heavier weight fabric with a low sheen finish.  It has been a favourite fabric used on our gowns for many years because of the durability and lustrous look it provides.  It has a firm, but soft handle with a wonderful body and weight.

Caring for your gown

All of our gowns require delicate handling and care.  Always remove your jewellery before putting on your gown to avoid snagging it, and NEVER sit on a rough surface.  

You may hand wash your gown in cold water with a mild detergent as long as you wash it separately and dry it flat.  Do not soak it, wring it, iron it or tumble dry it.

Some gowns allow for dry cleaning, please refer to the care instructions inside the gown.

Shipping Information

All gowns are shipped via Australia Post with signature on delivery.  We will send you notification once your order has been packed and on its way.  Please use your tracking number to keep up to date on delivery timing.

We aim to ship out your gown as quickly as possible. Some gowns are in stock now ready for dispatch today, some are made to order in Australia and take 2-21 days for construction, quality control and dispatch, and some gowns come from our international warehouse and will take 7 – 21 days for dispatch.  At all times we will clearly communicate with you how many days away your gown is.

We are located in Australia, and anything we send overseas may incur customs/import fees.  These duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within your country of destination.

These fees will be based on the value of your order and the Tax-free threshold (if it exists) for the products imported into your country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the customer receiving their goods, and these fees are required at the time of delivery. Please note that it is illegal to not declare the contents within your parcel.

Due to strict government border controls, these fees cannot be avoided, minimised, or waived and must be paid regardless of acceptance or rejection of your parcel.

Online returns

If you have purchased online from us, you can return your gown for a store credit. You will not be refunded, you will be issued a store credit to be used at Gossip Gowns.

You are able to return it for a store credit, however you will not be credited the cost of any shipping or rush fees/priority processing fees.
SALE gowns are excluded.
